Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Conditions”) apply to all contracts (“Contract”) with The Warehouse Racking Company Ltd. Any changes to these Conditions must be authorised in writing by a director of the company. By accepting delivery of goods or the commencement of services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Conditions as binding.
PRICING AND CONDITIONS
Our pricing is calculated based on several key factors:
1.1 The racking’s ability to support its maximum load capacity safely, including the weight of stored goods. If there are concerns about the suitability of your flooring, we can arrange for a structural engineer to assess it at an additional cost.
1.2 Delivery assumes that appropriate offloading equipment, such as a forklift truck, is available at the site.
1.3 Deliveries are typically scheduled between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Clients must inform us at the time of ordering if the site is unmanned or if there are specific delivery restrictions.
We also provide additional services, including:
1.4 Comprehensive inspections of racking to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
1.5 Professional installation of racking systems tailored to meet your specific needs.
RETURNS AND PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 We may impose a restocking fee for returned items. Payment for goods or services is required upon order placement unless otherwise agreed. Stock can be reserved for up to seven days while payment clears. Deposits, which may be held for up to three months unless stated otherwise, are non-refundable.
2.2 Please ensure that dimensions meet your specifications, as all measurements are approximate. Additional costs may apply for uneven floors or racking configurations that require shims or row ties. Inform us during ordering if these adjustments are necessary.
INSTALLATION TERMS
For installations included in your order, the following conditions apply:
3.1 The site must be clear, level, and accessible, with a counterbalance forklift truck available for use during installation.
3.2 If the Client supplies a scissor lift, it must be in full working condition. The Client assumes responsibility for breakdowns or unavailability.
3.3 Work will take place during standard business hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
3.4 Adequate lighting and power must be available at the site.
3.5 Clients must provide waste disposal options, such as a skip, within a reasonable distance of the work area.
3.6 Deliveries of goods and equipment may occur a day before installation begins unless otherwise specified. Scissor lifts may be collected up to five working days after the job is completed unless specific arrangements are made in advance.
We also offer stand-alone installation services for new or existing racking systems. This includes ensuring proper assembly, stability, and adherence to safety standards.
